The Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Foundation
Is seeking entries for the 29th edition presentation known in the world as the Oscar of cartoons. So far, more than 6,500 artists from 128 countries have taken part and the scope and importance of the awards are great.
Their belief is, in a world where violence and discrimination threaten global stability, the Aydın Doğan International was started to foster tolerance through cartooning and now more important than ever cartoons can bridge the gap between tolerance and wisdom, forming one of the building blocks of societies through creative expression, difference of opinion and diverse beliefs.
