What is true is all mobile OS ecosystems have a healthy number of app downloaders. Some are however better than others at getting or encouraging purchases. Microsoft is breaking from the mode by encouraging app developers to charge more for their apps, therefore, creating better quality apps. As most probably know apps like SPB Mobile shellwas available for Windows, way back in the 6.1 era and selling at $19.99, now $29.99.
